The Brewers of Europe is the Brussels-based voice of the European brewing sector.

Faces of Brewing.

For more than a half century The Brewers of Europe has been the Brussels-based voice of the European brewing sector towards the European institutions and international organisations. Founded in 1958, it has 28 members, comprising 24 national brewer associations from the EU, Croatia, Norway, Switzerland and Turkey. Faces of Brewing is an annual photo contest and an online gallery of images portraying individuals involved in the European Brewing sector: scientists, farmers, consumers, chefs as well as monks and the religious community.

blcreative’s objective in creating this digital campaign was to further improve the image of Europe’s beer producers by accentuating the socio-economic importance and cultural contribution of the brewing sector across European regions. We developed a new identity and website where powerful photographic images could be viewed formats at full screen size, encouraging audiences to share through social networks. Such was the effectiveness of the creative concept, the campaign was voted "Digital/Online Champion" at the prestigious "European Public Affairs Awards 2012" in recognition of the successful engagement with its target audience and the innovative use of digital platforms.
